In Praise of Slow

"In Praise of Slow" is an interactive installation that contrasts fired ceramic shells with unfired clay snail bodies, spread across floors and pathways. This piece is designed to evoke a range of reactions, from careful observation to inadvertent disturbance.

Through this dynamic, the work highlights the often overlooked and fragile elements of life. By placing these delicate forms in everyday paths, I aim to draw attention to the unnoticed aspects of our environment. "In Praise of Slow" encourages viewers to slow down and notice the subtle, often disregarded details that contribute to our world, urging mindfulness and deeper appreciation for the small yet significant presences around us.
